For the last eight hours, you’ve been living the game of your choice. Rubbing shoulders with world-class pros, it’s finally time to face one. Now it’s the last game, two-to-two. The hopes of all your friends watching in the crowd and those following at home are riding on this final battle. You’re in the hot seat.

What many organizations and media leave out is people don’t get to the top through success; they achieve victory after climbing back from failure.

In UT Arlington Esports, failure isn’t just an option, it’s expected.

UT Arlington Esports provides infrastructure to support such success. It gives members the tools to independently choose their path to happiness and provides a safety net, cushioning them in defeat, and raising them back up.

A common piece of advice given to incoming students is to experiment, to seek out and engage in as many new experiences as possible. UTA Esports thrives on this idea.

The organization encourages independent initiatives by giving members agency - the freedom to pursue their own passions.

Through the diverse population of officers and members, the various games hosted at a casual and competitive level and the different opportunities provided to get a foothold in the industry, this organization is perfect for finding love in esports.

In the avenue of competitive games, tryouts for all teams are commencing shortly.

This year, most major esports will be represented, like League of Legends, DOTA 2, Hearthstone, Super Smash Bros., Overwatch, Rocket League, Vainglory and more.

Some events to consider are Back to Black LAN on Aug. 31 at 2:00 p.m. CST, Mav Mayhem Reloaded on Sep. 7 at 2:00 p.m. CST and UT Arlington Esports - First Friday Frenzy Hearthstoneon Sep. 7 at 8:00 p.m. CST.

All these events, specifically the Back to Black LAN, are excellent opportunities to engage officers and competitive directors for more information on the club and any game that strikes your fancy.

If going toe-to-toe with giants sounds appealing, then UT Arlington Esports is your organization.

To find the exact tryout date for your game of choice, contact the corresponding competitive director through Discord. You can also find many competitive directors listed and sign ups for most games at http://www.utarlingtonesports.com/.
